Lara is Head of Creative Innovation Practice at the UK Government’s Policy Lab, combining experimentation, capability-building, knowledge infrastructure and strategic influence to embed new ways of doing policy.
Her work brings together systems thinking, place-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration to shape more equitable, sustainable and liveable futures. Across roles in government, higher education and urban strategy, she has led programmes spanning regeneration, public service reform, education and civic participation, with a particular interest in conflict, intergenerational relations, and the role of place in supporting collective wellbeing.
